Jackson & Perkins has introduced a number of lovely English-style roses this year (2000), and English Sachet is one of them.  I was quite surprised to read that it is actually a hybrid tea because the blooms look just like those from an old-fashioned rose!
Sugary sweet scent combines with perfection of bloom in this interesting rose.  Foliage is medium green and supposed to have the superior disease tolerance for which English roses are bred.  I have just planted this rose, so I cannot speak from experience about its vigor or resistance to disease.  Blossoms are light pink-white with over 40 petals in each exquisite rose.
English Sachet has joined Dream Weaver, Therese Bugnet, Paul Neyron, Frederic Mistral, Cotillion, and Victorian Spice in the new extension of the garden near our pole barn.

May 2000- This rose died shortly after planting.
