This poor rose has been having rather a hard time in my garden, but regardless, it perseveres! First, it was in a too crowded, too shady spot. Then, it was one of the roses that sank during spring thaw. After being rescued, it spent an obscure summer in the squash patch while we were having my mom's suite and our new garage built. Finally, it has been placed into a new rose garden among old friends-- Perfume Delight, Electron, Paradise, Angel Face, Mary Rose, and Golden Showers.
Growth is reported to be strong, and the foliage is dark green. The deeply tinted roses are lush and beautiful!
