The unique story behind the introduction of Peace lends it a grace that is only eclipsed by its exquisite beauty.  Smuggled out of occupied France during World War II, Peace skyrocketed to popularity in America and eventually around the world.  It remains the most popular rose of all time.
This rose is clothed with a wealth of large, dark, leathery leaves.  The flowers are very large (5.5 inches across) and vary in color depending on the weather.  At times the blossoms are nearly all yellow with just a hint of pink, and then again the roses can be a deep, rich yellow with vibrant sunset pink edges.  At every stage, from bud to blossom, this rose is beautiful!  Its fragrance, while not intense, is still satisfyingly sweet.  It reminds me of enjoying a banana-flavored popsicle on a hot summer day.
