Howdy, |
|

I do have a horse, I do own cattle and I live on a ranch. I am not arrogant and I don't swagger when I walk. I do love my homeland, just as I'm sure everyone loves their own. |

I know that the lieutenant governor has more power than the governor and that the railroad commissioner has considerably more responsibilities than just making sure the trains run on time. I speak English and I can tell the difference between Spanish and "Texican". I say words and phrases like "yall", "tolable" and "I tell you what" and know how to use them correctly. |

The Lone Star flag flies over my house. I still remember the Alamo and Goliad, that doesn't mean I haven't gotten over it, just that I will never forget it. I believe in doing what's right even if you have to do it alone and that a hopeless fight is still a noble one if done for the right reason, no matter if you win or lose. Nothing is more picturesque than longhorn cattle in a field of bluebonnets. |

Brush cowboys are not the same as drug store cowboys. Brush cowboys are too busy working to learn fancy tricks for your amusement. I wear a cowboy hat, jeans and cowboy boots; I have earned the right and I wear them because they're practical, not because they "look cool". |

Texas is the most recognized state in the world, the largest in the lower 48 and the most legendary by far. Texas is the birthplace of the cowboy, the rodeo and the home of the Texas Rangers, the most elite bunch of lawmen on earth. |
