Another hat I wear is "Wife". My dh is Mark. He works very hard to be our main income provider. He is my best friend and my high school sweetheart. I don't know what I'd do without him.
The professional hat I wear is "Nurse". I've been an RN since 1983. I view my job as more than just a career, but as a ministry. Right now, so that I can be home with my children, I work during the school year at a doctor's office. It's a much slower pace, but the schedule works out better for our family.
My volunteer hat is worn as I accompany The Rainbow Express, a singing group for children in the 4th through 8th grade in central Ohio, where we live. This Christian outreach group is a professional group, and the kids have a wonderful time sharing their God-given gifts to help share their faith. We have recently made a CD. It isn't available for sale yet, but it sure was fun to make it.
Of course, I've worn the hat of "Daughter" and "Sister" since I was born. I was blessed to be born into a very loving and supportive family.
Some of my hobbies include scrapbooking, cooking, sewing and quilting. I hope to be able to share some of these with you soon.
Last, but certainly not least, in fact the most important hat I wear, is that of "Child of God". I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 18 years old. My main desire has been to serve Him ever since.
