Scottie is . . .

Scottie is a boy and he belongs to my wife.

Scottie is a terribly naughty and cute Jack Russell terrier which my wife finally picked after we went to about six pet shops round the island! He is now one and a half years old.

His nickname is "baby".

He can sit, lie down, shake paws, and jump, especially if you have food.

He can overcome almost any obstacles. We used to fence him up in the kitchen with a metre high metallic fence but he could wend his way out by doing pull-ups with his legs.

Scottie  lives in our bedroom and owns the space under our bed although he has the penchant to migrate upstairs. He has lots of toys...we practically buy a new one for him everytime we visit a pet shop.

-playing with his frisbee or squeaky ball
-tissue paper

- to go for walks

- gnawing up our furniture.

-to steal my wife's comb. He'll swipe it from her handbag and hide it under the bed.

- to disturb my wife when she's sleeping.

-to play hide and seek. All you have to do is to say "Scottie-find!" or "Where's' wei-wei!" and he'll scurry around the house to hunt for my wife.

- being left alone.

- being left out of a conversation. Scottie will make all sorts of noises to get our attention whenever we ignore him.

- being put in a cage ...when we punish him for being an overt nuisance.

- funny noises outside the house.


- giving up anything it has taken possession of.
