..........sorry can't stop laughing at the thought of Keith wiping out a pedestrian on a ride to Sunderland one day.
Anyway! if you don't know already, the Gadgies do enjoy a good laugh and a bike ride every now and then. One of the best ones being the C2C (coast to coast) which some done last year and should hopefully be doing the same again this year if the foot 'n' mooth thing goes away.
God! piss-off, did it rain 'n' rain that day ,the wet and now pissed off Gadgies couldn't even take refuge in a minibus 'cos they didn't have one. (Well that's the fun of doing the C2C unaided) So all they could do was pedal east, homewards, 140 odd miles away, surviving with what little they had for the next two days.
after setting off from Workington the Gadgies made there way to 'Threkeld' where they camped on the outskirts of the village next to the river so not to piss off the locos...
That night we were drying our stuff on the radiators in the 'frogs 'n' hoonds' osumik and having something to scran like a bun in a basket (it wa great to get off that motormay bit at night without any... "nutters". Inky did survive the night without gettin' hypothermodelinquency)
