| When I work on a design I like to start from scratch and take photographs. From these I make sketches and notes. Everything is kept in a plastic wallet or file.. From here I make a file selecting what I need and keeping it in working order compile a folder. Thread samples and stitch samples are added. Samples of smal areas of the finished design are worked. | The River of Dreams was completed for the Lace Guild Exhibition in 2001. (Dreaming Dreams) Inspiration was taken from The River of Dreams by Billy Joel. This design was awarded The Susan & Roger Cox Trophy for Lace Desiign by The Lace Guild. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
