Ocean Waves By Moonlight
Free-style bobbin lace worked in silks and metallic threads with beads. The ends have been used as a part of the design. This is one of two designs that evolved from the same source material and this is the second one of the two to have been worked. A fabric frame was made for this piece as it was difficult to find what I wanted.
The lace is mounted onto a fine piece of black geogette over the same fabric from which the frame was made. (very pale cream polyester moire type of fabric).
