| A major goal in a persons' life is to own their own home. For our family that came to be late September 2005. We bought a town house condominium, the 4th and 5th floor of a five story building located within a gaurded compound. The specs are: 4 bedrooms 3 full bathrooms 5 balconies 312 sq meters (3360 sq ft) gourmet kitchen ceramic parquet floors This home was the culmination of an incredible amount work but we are very happy with it. We made sure that this home had all the features that we considered important. We used a tree of life design theme throughout the house. This design element is prominent on doors and other features and kind of brings the place together. |
| The Kitchen As cooking is a central part of my life, we put in a lot of effort into the kitchen to make sure it had everything that is to me essential to a good kitchen. The kitchen is a T style with the pantry off the central well and a wrap around counter over the top of the "T". The face of the counter is clad in brass with hand hammered tree of life design taken from a medieval woodcut. This was also worked into the apron front of the enormous copper sink. This sink was hand made to our specifications. It is so large that we needed a seperate faucet for each bowl. |
