| Jalila Malak Medley |
| Our daughter Jalila was born on January 12th 2006 in Alexandria, Egypt. She came to us in a hurry and a few weeks early but we were happy to see her. She was 3.1 kgs (a little over 7 pounds) and perfect. It was a quick job with Judy entering the hospital around 8:00pm, Jalila arriving at 9:15 and all of us leaving in the morning. In Arabic Jalila means "splendid" or some such virtue. The name is archaic and it's meaning murky in modern Arabic. Malak is an old form of "angel". |
