	Even though Gilby Clarke has written several of his own albums he is most know for his short time playing with Guns N' Roses. He was one of a short number of guitarists that was tried out for replacing Izzy Stradlin. He was quickly invited onboard. He went of the massive tour of Use Your Illusion I+II and appeared on "The Spagetti Incident?". After the tour Axl Rose wanted to try out a different style of music but this didnt suit Gilby's rough and ready style so he and the rest of the band lefted. He carried on with his solo career, he later on realeased an album with old Stray Cat Drummer, Slim Jim Phantom which was called Col. Parker. He appeared on both former members Slash and Duffs Albums.
