	Matt was brought after Steven Alder was sacked because he had a drug problem which was resulting in him playing poorly for the band. He quickly astablised himself in the band and learned all the songs before the massive tour of Use Your Illusion. Matt got the chance to play in the Cult, to play the drums. This caught many peoples attention which included both Slash and Duff. Slash and Duff invited him to try out for the spot of drummer for Guns N' Roses. At the time Guns N' Roses was the best rock band around. After leaving Guns N' Roses in 1997 he started to produce music of his own. Matt sick on the drums!!
