Richochet AK Review |
By Matt V |
A little brother to the Ricochet 2k, it lacks features of the higher-end model. Without an LCD, the designer decided to use a plastic window for a quick-look at how much paint is left. After 20 point blank shots at it, nothing. No cracks, breaks, or scratches. I would recommend that Ricochet uses some kind of sealant though, because after about 10 shots, paint was oozing in. After getting over it's plain ugly looks, it almost grew on me. It almost looks like it should have wings and fly. Apparently it is for "deflection engineering" which I have yet to see work. While playing, I noticed that I got one deflection out of about 10 times I got hit on the hopper. The blades in the hopper are flexable, allowing paintballs to rotate freely, instead of getting jammed. As for speed? I shot this loader on a B2k, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't out shoot it. Even set at 10 BPS Full-Auto. Conclusion: Buy it! It feeds fast, looks good, and might catch ya a lucky deflection! |
