Jeff Van Damage vs. Hazard (WWA Super Tour 2002)
	Jeff Van Damage during his first of three appearances on the WWA Super Tour. Jeff was prepping for his big match against Chazz Mazzaratti at XWA Uprising, and did a weekend's worth of shows with the WWA guys. This was the Friday show, and the main event for the night. The following night was a mixed Tag Team Match, with JVD teaming with Alyssa Blaze against Saint Pauli and Mistress Pain. The entrances are made, and  JVD is over HUGE! The house only has
	about 5,000 people, but that's okay, because it looks PACKED. Hanson is back with the "Hazard" gimmick, of course, and over quite well himself. The first few minutes of the match is a little pose-off between both guys, with Hazard posing, and the fans booing him, then Jeff Van Damage posing and the fans cheering. Lock up, and Hazard gets the Waistlock. Jeff rolls through, so Hazard switches to the Headlock. JVD counters with a Top Wristlock, but Hazard takes him down with a Standing Leg Sweep, so JVD holds on and rolls back to the Wristlock. Van Damage goes to the Armbar, then moves to the Hammerlock, so Hazard Drop Toe Holds him and goes to the Front Chancery. He manages to roll through one counter, but Jeff fakes him out on a second attempt and gets right back onto the Hammerlock. Hazard tries the old "back scoop" counter to a Hammerlock, but Jeff suddenly whips his weight forward, dragging Hazard in a funky looking inverse Arm Drag, and right into a Key Lock! Great sequence so far. Hazard backs him to the corner, and after a HARD Back Elbow, he then goes to work--a few chops, a Euro or two, and then a STIFF Knife Edge, and Jeff is pretty damn red. Hazard starts off the impending arm psychology by wrenching the arm over the top rope. Jeff uses an Eye Rake o get free, but Hazard Front Kicks the hanging arm to keep Jeff in the corner. Headlock Takedown by Hazard, but Jeff bridges out(!!), and whips him in to start the shoulderblock sequence. After a few nifty leap frogs by JVD, it ends with an Jeff catching a Knee Lift. Damage manages to reverse a whip, however, and scores with a Tilt-A-Whirl Gutbuster into a rebound Backbreaker (more of JVD learning from his opponents, swiping that set from Kyle Winters) and then pounds on Hazard in the corner. Hazard comes back with STIFF~! chops, but Jeff fights with the OVERHAND VIOLENCE, so Hazard makes him eat MORE chops. Hazard with a short clothesline, and may the ass-kicking begin. Jeff reverses a corner whip and Hazard hits hard for a 2 count. Hazard gets tossed to the outside, and JVD follows with a Flipping Hurracanrana off the apron!! Hazard is dazed, so Jeff makes him eat apron off a Hotshot. Back in, JVD covers for 2 count. Jeff goes to a quick chinlock, trying to bear down on the neck (injured off the Hotshot, 'natch), but Hazard powers out. JVD pounds away on the neck with elbows, so Hazard brings the Violence. JVD reverses the whip, and then throws Hazard across the top rope. Hazard falls to the outside and JVD tries a Baseball
Slide, but Hazard moves and NAILS the shoulder twice. He nails a sweet Shoulder Crossface Swipe, and then racks the arm on the guard rail! Jeff staggers towards the steps, so Hazard Dropkicks the shoulder against the steps because Hazard is your GOD. Rolled back in for a 1 count. Hazard pulls Jeff to his feet, and rams the shoulder into the turnbuckle. The announcers catch onto the arm psychology, as Hazard does the post shot once more, before going into a Standing Armbar. Jeff manages to armdrag out, but Hazard makes him eat a RUNNING ELBOW! He rams JVD's shoulder to the post once more, and gets a NASTY Backdrop for 2. JVD is bleeding hardway from the nose or mouth, probably from the post shot. Hazard whips into a Drop Toe Hold, and then STIFF~! Dropkicks JVD in the mouth and shoulder. AY YI YI! Hazard rattles off the Snap Suplex gets 2. Hazard kicks JVD down and whips Jeff Van Damage HARD to the corner, and then Legdrops the back of his head to be a dick. More chops, and Hazard even throws in a few kicks to the injured shoulder of JVD. Hazard whips him, but runs into an JVD RUNNING ELBOW! Jeff goes to the second rope, but Hazard stops him, so Jeff comes back with the Knife Edges and stops Hazard, before hitting a SUPER CROSSFACE HALO!! KO Spot, with both men getting up and trading blows. Jeff wins it, and tosses Hazard off the ropes. He ducks the Lariat, and goes for the VAN DAMAGER.. but the arm hurts!! Great psychology. Damage goes to a clothesline, but Hazard grabs the arm and nails a Single Arm DDT. He goes for the pin.. ONE.. TWO!! No. ONE.. TWO!! No. ONE.. TWO!! And no, access denied! Hazard goes on a ridiculously funny tirade on the ref, mentioning something about America's education system and how referee are taught not to call to three. All this, while choking Jeff Van Damage! HA!! Hazard rolls over into a armlock, and wrenches it away, tugging off Jeff's hair to be an ass. Jeff fights back, and gets Hazard to bounxe off the ropes. He dives under the a clothesline, and catches Hazard off the ropes with a Leg Lariat. A KILLER Koppo Kick and Tornado DDT follow, and JVD's going for a Missile Dropkick, only to see Hazard swat it away and lock that fucker in...THE CROSSFACE! TA.. TA.. JVD gets to the ropes, so Hazard PULLS him away, and locks in a Fujiwara Armbar!! Jeff SCRAMBLES to the ropes, so Hazard pulls him back in, only for Jeff to counter once again with a Enzugiri. KO Spot, and it's a CHOP WAR!!! Hazard wins and tries to ram that shoulder into the corner, only to see Damage turn it into a Drop Toe Hold on the middle turnbuckle, followed by the BLUE THUNDER!! ONE.. TWO.. 2 9/10! Jeff whips Hazard off, but Hazard grabs the arm, so JVD stays with it, pulls Hazard in, and gets the Flat-Out Flapjack for 2! Now Van Damage brings the AMERICAN VIOLENCE, and then pulls Hazard in for the Whiplash! Jeff sets up for the spear, but Hazard turns that into a Double Arm DDT, rolled into a Butterfly Lock!! HELL YEAH. Jeff Van Damage tries some crazy rolling counter, but Hazard goes with him and it's still in, baby. TA.. TA.. Jeff BRIDGES OUT and gets the feet into the ropes! Wow.. Awesome escape. Hazard is PISSED, as he pulls Jeff up. He goes for the HAZARD BOMB, but Jeff reverses it to an arm drag. Hazard pops up, and runs right into the CRUCIAL CONFLICT.. but again, Jeff can't do it because of the arm!! GREAT! Hazard realizes the advantage, and attempts to roll it into a Crossface, only for Jeff to roll through, duck the lariat, and MIGHTY FOOT!! Jeff falls, clutching the arm, and Hazard is just OUT. He crawls over for the pin.. ONE..TWO.. 2.999999!!! He pulls Hazard up, and goes for the VAN DAMAGER.. NO! Hazard reverses, goes for the HAZARD BOMB.. NO! Jeff holds onto the head and scales the ropes, and gets the K.O.D.!! He steps back, sets up.. SHINING WIZARD!! ONE.. TWO.. THREE!! Winner: Jeff Van Damage (24:53) Great outing, with a lot of the focus being on JVD's arm. Hazard pulls out submissions galore to work over the arm, and the Double Arm DDT/Butterfly Lock was a nice touch. Awesome selling by Jeff, including having to botch the VAN DAMAGER because of the hurt arm, and then having to negate all his prmary upper body offense and revert to the SHINING WIZARD as a finisher. And of course, anytime Hazard is allowed to dick it up is always a fun time. The rant he makes on the referee is must-see stuff.
