Fall One: El Emeno and Jeff Van Damage start it off, as they circle. Mind you, Emeno is pushing 7 feet, but he's REALLY agile and very technically sound for a guy that large. Emeno with the waistlock takedown and JVD gets the hammerlock and standing headlock. He's whipped off it to the corner, but eats a boot and JVD slides under EE and kicks him right back to the corner. JVD with a drop toehold, into the headlock, and Emeno moves to the top wristlock, which JVD arm drags out of. JVD does EL SHUFFLE-O (that little dance EE does when he enters from the mariachi band) and EE gives chase. JVD with does the UN MORTAL through the ropes and EE falls for it, goes flying through the ropes to a huge pop! Pink can't even look. Emeno gets back in, as JVD does his own taunt. El Emeno applauds JVD being a pussy, and just BEGS him to come right at him, so JVD does, only to run into a boot and a short clothesline. Emeno turns his back and JVD kips-up, and then ducks a lariat into the tilt-a-whirl head scissors. Emeno pops up back up, so Jeff lays him down with the diving lariat. Rube Goldberg Bulldog is blocked into a German Suplex, but Jeff flips out, and then lays EE down with a running Bulldog! El Emeno gets up and turns, and walks right into a Drop-Sault (Moonsault Dropkick)! He falls, and is suitably PISSED OFF as JVD taunts, then tags ICon. Emeno still wants JVD, so he tags in Pink hard. Pink comes him, complete with shaking the hand in pain, and locks up with ICon. ICon with the headlock,
HARD whip to the corner, and Pink follows up with a HARDER Backdrop Suplex before tagging EE in. He stomps away on ICon and knocks JVD off the apron, then goes to the chokes. He pulls ICon up, and does a little prayer mock for ICon, then hits a Released T-Bone Suplex! 1..2..2.999999!! ICon landed RIGHT on his head. EE tags Pink, who kicks ICon in the gut and he brings the OVERHAND VIOLENCE. Pink tosses ICon off the ropes, and nails him with a BIG Powerslam for two. He pulls him up, and launches him into the corner again, and follows with a HARD Spike DDT. Tag back into Emeno, who levels ICon with a Tilt a Whirl Backbreaker, before following up with a Butterfly Suplex and a FAT MEXICAN Jumping Elbow Drop (called the Taco to Go by Troy Dank) for two. Pink comes back in, and the THREAT take GoD out with a BRUTAL Military Press Gutbuster! 1..2... SAVE BY JVD!! The referee restores order, while Pink whips ICon in, only to eat an elbow. ICon swings, but misses, and Pink goes for a German. ICon elbows out, and tries a German of his own, but Pink blocks that. He springs off the ropes for a clothesline, but ICon ducks, spins Pink around, and boots him, before scoring with flash Angel's Teardrop (Spinning DDT). ICon's crawling, and Pink grabs his leg.. but he dives towards JVD, and makes the tag!!
HOT tag JVD, who comes in with the Springboard Kneedrop on the back of Pink's head!! 1..2..2.99999!!! Jeff pulls Pink up, and unloads the stiff kicks!! The crowd is just off the charts at this point, "whooing" with every kick. JVD's corner whip is reversed, but he gets a drop toehold to the turnbuckle, and brings the VIOLENCE like it should be brought, period, WITH BOTH HANDS. Pink's chest is looking.. well.. pink, and Jeff tosses him cross-corner, only to hit his swank Deja Vu DDT! He throws him back in the corner, but EE comes in so ICon whips him into Pink, and then propels JVD into a spear into both guys! JVD dropkicks EE out and then JVD and ICon do the Tossing Super Rana!!! 1..2.. SAVED BY EMENO!! ICon lariats Emeno to the outside, and then Pink runs into the ORIGINAL DAMAGE!!! Fall Two: Emeno attacks right away and stomps them down, but ICon slips out of the FLAMING JALAPENO (Death Valley Brainbuster) attempt. He runs into the Overhead Belly-to-Belly though, and momentum has SHIFTED. EE continues the violence with the three Rib-Breaker combo, followed by a fall away slam. It gets 2. High Angle Backdrop gets 2 and EE tags Pink in. EE holds Icon in a half nelson, and Pink does a Scissor Kick to the gut! Nasty. Pink kicks away, even adding in some signature smack talk, before pulling him into a high angle Backbreaker. Fireman's carry gutbuster and ICon gets whipped to corner. Pink puts him up top, and looks for a Superplex, but ICon punches free, and nails the ANGEL'S TEARDROP OFF THE TOP ROPE!! Brutal!! Pink looks all of about dead now, as we get a race to the corners. EE gets in first, and NAILS JVD off the apron. He turns to ICon, and scrapes his boots across his face as he tries to get up. HA HA! He pulls him up, and racks him in a Canadian Back Breaker, before RAMMING him into the turnbuckles. Yucky. Icon falls out, and EE decides to go with a Torture Rack. ICon refuses to submit, and begins to slug EE in the face, trying to get free. So, EE just DROPS him over the top rope, and to the floor. DAMN, Icon's taking a shit kicking here. Pink does some cheating on the outside, and even tosses some beer into his face. He rolls him back in, and EE gets two. He tags in Pink, who flashes JVD an evil grimace, and just UNLOADS with the chops. Even the referee cringes at some of these shots. Pink whips ICon across, and he just crumbles upon impact. The fans are rallying behind ICon, but it's slowly looking like no use. Pink goes for a suplex, but ICon falls behind, and gets the Half Nelson Facebuster! Another race, both tag, but JVD is HOT again! Lariat, lariat, back body drop to Pink, back body drop to EE. JVD nails Pink with a HUGE Flapjack, and then gets Emeno with the BIGGEST Belly to Belly EVER! Jeff decides to show off the strength by getting a HUUUGE Backdrop Suplex, and this crowd is absolutely nuked! This thing might just end now, as JVD readies the spear. He misses EE, however, and runs RIGHT into Pink and the title belt!! Jeff falls back, right into the FLAMING JALAPENO!! There go the straps, there is the DEATHLOCK STF!! There goes ICon, oh, but Pink gives him a Spear off the apron!! JVD tries to hold out, but soon, he can only tap. Tied at 1 fall apiece. The ELITE: 1 The THREAT: 1
Fall Three: EE doesn't even bother celebrating, as he goes for a pinfall right after the bell rings! 1..2.. ICON SAVES!! Pink drags ICon back out, but gets DRILLED with a Chop. EE pulls Jeff up, and hits the 13 second(!!) Stall Front Suplex!!! 1..2.. 2.999999!!! Jeff Van Damage is just near death after the Deathlock. EE tosses Jeff off the ropes, but he flips over EE off the rebound, ducking his lariat on the way back, but then gets tripped by Pink. EE drops a elbow on JVD and gets 2. EE pounds on JVD in the corner with the MEXICAN VIOLENCE, and whips him cross ring. JVD bounces out, into the Body Press Samoan Drop for 2. EE body presses JVD and holds him up for like an eternity, even benching him a few times, before DROPPING him over the TOP ROPE AND TO THE FLOOR!! Yikes!! That's a good 13 foot drop right on his FACE. Jeff Van Damage will die for your enjoyment, people. EE distracts the ref, while Pink works over Jeff, introducing him to the barrier and such, and even doing a Snap Suplex on the arena floor (ouch) before rolling him in for 2. EE gets angry that Pink couldn't get the cheap fall. Emeno pulls JVD up, and KILLS him with the POINT BLANK DEATH (High Knee Drill to Face)!! 1.. 2.. 2.99999!!! Emeno follows up with a HIGH Release Belly to Belly, which gets two.
Pink tags in, and gives Jeff a pair of lariats to wear him down, before taunting to the crowd. He pulls Jeff up, and levels him with a High Angle Backbreaker for 2. He follows up with a Swinging Neckbreaker, segued into a Gulliotine Choke (NICE!) but ICon rushes in and breaks it up. Pink wraps on the abdominal stretch, as the referee deals with ICon. Emeno and Pink begin cheating, grabbing each other's hands or leverage, as Jeff is SCREAMING in pain. Finally, ICon runs in, and Pink and Emeno switch places. More cheating follows, until the referee catches on, breaks their grip. Jeff tries a hip toss to break, but Emeno's too big, so Emeno tries a pumphandle, but Jeff falls behind into the JEFF-O-MATIC!! He goes to tag in ICon, but Pink rushes in and pulls Jeff Van Damage away from the corner! Referee berates Pink, as Emeno leaps over and tags out in front of the referee. Pink comes in, and he goes to work, nailing elbow, forearm, elbow, forearm, all the while grabbing JVD's hair. Jeff is just absolutely limp by this point, but manages to counter a kick with a back sweep. Jeff tries to spring back to life with a few desperate right hands, but he misses one, and Pink capitalizes: German Suplex OVER THE TOP ROPE and to the FLOOR!! Christ, first his face, now his back. Jeff Van Damage is suicidal. To make things worse, Emeno shatters (figuratively) Jeff's skull on the outside with a PILEDRIVER on the apron!! GOOD LORD!! Emeno then runs over and knocks off ICon from the apron, as Pink goes for the pin.. 1..2... SAVED BY ICON!! Soooo close.
Referee tries to restore order, as Emeno runs in for Pink. Emeno wraps up JVD for the Front Facelock, and attempts his own version of the ANGEL'S TEARDROP, but JVD counters it into a Released Northern Lights Suplex! Jeff goes for kick, EE catches, but Jeff nails the Dragon Whip! Jeff builds up the momentum, as JVD unloads the AMERCIAN VIOLENCE, DOUBLE DUKES STYLE! Finally, he tosses EE out of the corner, only to get reversed, but springs off and tries a Flipping Neckbreaker in Mid-Air! EE catches him, however, and lays him out with a nasty Spinebuster!! EE sets JVD reverse style on the top turnbuckle, and looks for something off the top, but Jeff elbows out, and nails the TOP-ROPE K.O.D.!! Yes!!! The house is TREMBLING, and JVD tags to ICon! He's a house of fire, as he unloads the Lariats for EE. After three, he gives EE a Floating Neckbreaker, and follows up with a MASSIVE Shoulderblock. EE pops up, and runs into the Drop toe Hold, into a Half Crab! Pink runs in, but ICon tosses him out. EE comes from behind and whips him, but gets the Diving Forearm! He throws EE off, and gets the Leaping Heel Kick, and then follows up with the ANGEL'S TEARDROP!! The place is going crazy!! ONE.. TWO.. 2.999999999!!! BIG ovation, everyone thought that was it.
ICon tags in JVD, and they double team EE, as ICon tosses EE off the ropes, and gets on all fours. Jeff bounces off the other ropes, springs off ICon, and busts out a MID-AIR SHINING WIZARD on EE!! DEATH!! ONE.. TWO.. 2.999999999999!!!! Pink is flipping out! This crowd is eating it up with a shovel!! EE backs away, and Jeff whips him, but it's reversed. Emeno charges and eats the boot, but catches JVD in another Overhead Belly to Belly, though. Tag Pink, who whips JVD in for a Back Body Drop. Backbreaker gets 2. Pink busts the ELEVATED HALF CRAB! JVD kicks him away, so Pink drops him with a HARD front kick to the chest, and tags out. EE knocks ICon off the apron and kicks down JVD. Short clothesline for 2. Tag Pink and he pounds away on JVD. Pink whips JVD to the corner, but he eats a back elbow. JVD climbs, but Pink stops him and gets a SUPERDUPER Backdrop. Jeff reverses in mid-air, however, and turns it into a Cross-body Splash! Both down, both tag, ICon is hot. For the second time in this fall, no less. ICon ducks the lariat and gets a dropkick. Corner whip is reversed, but EE hits the STEEL pole, and ICon gets the Target Buster (Running Falling Dropkick to the face), a tribute to the Human Target. Pink pulls ICon, however and gets a HUGE German. Yay. Pink knocks JVD off, and but ICon falls behind on the FLAMING JALAPENO, pushing EE into Pink, knocking Pink outside. He gets a Hurricane DDT, and heads up for the Diving Headbutt, but Pink crotches him on the top rope!! EE climbs and goes for a Superplex.. But ICon wraps him up on the mat for a pin! Both Shoulders are down.. ONE-TWO-THREE!!
New champs??? Champs retain??? Everyone's celebrating, but no one knows what's happened. Ref announces that EE and Pink win.. But they show the replay. Referee THEN changes his mind, saying JVD and Icon win! Crowd erupts, and EE and Pink are going BERZERK. Finally, MIA Commish Crazy Dubya runs out and says that the replay shows that both shoulders are on the mat. Therefore, the match must continue. EE and Pink are protesting, saying it's "against the rulebook" and what not, and CD says: "Like you two ever followed the rule book." Touche.
Fall Three, redux: Match continues, as ICon starts off the decisive fall with a Diving Double Lariat on both of them. He pounds on Pink, but his corner whip is reversed VERY HARD, and Pink gets a High Angle Backdrop. Emeno comes in and they do the Double Knee Crush. Emeno pounds and snaps off a Release Overhead T-Bone Suplex, followed by yet another Overhead Belly to Belly. Snapmare and tag for Pink, who gets a DROPKICK TO THE MUSH. Reservoir Violence shot knocks ICon down. SWANK Gutwrench Suplex follows. Tag Emeno, who does a not so SWANK Gutwrench. He literally tossed ICon! He pulls ICon up, and gets the Brainbuster! 1..2..JVD SAVES!! Emeno pounds away, and gets a NASTY Tilt A Whirl Slam for two. He locks in a Camel Clutch, as the crowd starts to rally behind ICon. He manages to fight out, but Pink tags EE on the back, and comes in. He bounces off the ropes, and Dropkicks ICon right in the gut! Pink snaps off a Swinging Neckbreaker, before doing a Camel Clutch of his own. Crowd rallies again, as ICon breaks free. Pink tries a Back Drop, but ICon flips out, and nails the DEVLIN DEATH DROP (Saving Grace)!! The crowd is going crazy, as we have a race for tags. Pink grabs ICon's leg to stop him, but ICon dives and gets the Hot, Hot, HOT tag to JVD.
He goes up top and gets the Flying Spear!! Spinning Heel Kick for EE, Flapjack for Pink, EE gets clotheslined over the top. JVD ducks an Pink lariat and gets the Crossface Halo!! 1..2.. 2.99999!!!! EE charges in, and grabs JVD from behind, and gets the FLAMING JALAPENO!! ICon drags EE out of the ring, and plasters him with an elbow, as Pink rolls over for the pin!! ONE!! TWO!! 2.999999999999999!!! Pink rolls through the pin into the DOG COLLAR!! Jeff is writhing in pain, right in the center of the ring! TA.. TA.. BROKEN BY ICON!!! EE runs in and tosses ICon as Pink whips JVD into the corner. Pink rushes for the splash, as ICon and EE brawl on the outside. Jeff moves, Pink stumbles out.. MIGHTY FOOT!! NO!! Pink catches, and spins JVD.. PINK THUNDER BOMB- But Jeff falls behind! He ducks the lariat, and- VAN DAMAGER!! ONE!! TWO!! THR- NO!! EE comes off the top with the SHOWTIME ELBOW to break the pin..... and it HITS PINK!! The crowd is jacked up!! EE gets dropkicked to the outside by ICon, and Jeff covers for the pin!! The house is a BURNING INFERNO!!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THREEAHHHH!!!

Hot damn. The crowd goes absolutely INSANE here, with streamers flying and people literally LEAPING out of their seats in praise. This was a long, but awesome match, with a hot crowd and a lot of hard hitting action the whole way through. You could feel the hate in all those huge bumps, and some of those shots were stiffer than normal. ICon was a champ in this, taking some brutal beatings but coming back in the end to save the match for the team. The feud between the two factions continued for a month after this, but it was never as big as this fight. Many see this as the blow-off to the whole feud, especially due to JVD and ICon defeating Mr. Pink and Raven Dark (the third THREAT member) after this, and EE and Mr. Pink's departure from the MIA. However, if EE and Mr. Pink remained in the MIA, who knows how much further this feud could've gone? Regardless, an awesome tag team bout, with some many hot tags and crazy, death-for-happiness spots. The crazy ending helps, with Jeff Van Damage getting Pink twice within one month, a feat unheard of before this match. This was the defining moment in JVD's first tenure with the ELITE: The man that helped to end the war.
