" Is There A Chance For Us? "

We met in the most unusual way, You were the answer to the prayer I use to pray.

You had your life and I had mine, Was it destiny that they should one day entwine?

We were both alone in the big scheme of things, Now we're living again and our hearts have taken flight as though they have wings.

Our youth was spent so many years ago- But God has seen fit for us to continue with the flow.

His blessings seem to be without end, For He has sent you to be my loving friend.

'til you came into my life, I was a ship without a sea, Now we've found there really is life , if we only set our souls free.

Is there a chance for us? Can we love again with the years we have remaining? If we want our lives to grow, then surely its a must; to nurture our love will be life sustaining.

So come and let us walk into the bright  sunset, Hand in hand with our heads held high, lest we forget.

With our friends and family around us and much to their chagrin- Let us seize the day and let our new life begin.

Trust and love can materialize at any age- So let us together, take the Book of Life and turn the final page.
