Take heed my little children as you
romp and play,
Danger lurks around you in each and
everyway.
Keep your caution in the forefront
even though you're having fun_
Your Guardian Angel has to work
overtime protecting you , until the
day is done.
Do not over tax her in your quest
to explore,
She spreads her wings so gently,
your safety to restore.
She keeps her trusty vigil when
mother's not around,
So help make her job easier and
stay on firmer ground.
At last when day is over and you
are finally laid to bed,
She'll tuck you beneath her wings
to ward off any fear or dread.
Mothers all over the world sing
her praises in a hundred different
ways,
For they know without her, they
couldn't have made it through all
those hectic days.
