Lord watch over this little Angel of Light,
Get her safely through each night_
Help her grow straight and strong,
Let her be good and never do much wrong.
May the Angels up above,
Give this child a full measure of love.
Grant Thy wisdom to her mother_
May she have strength and speed like no other.
God Grant this child your love_
Watch over her from above.
Let her dreams always be sweet,
May she never a stranger meet.
If she should cry out in the dark of night_
Send down Thy soothing Angel of light.
Keep her safe by night and day,
