" The Story Behind The Webpage "

I'm writing this story to explain the amazing  chain of events that took place to put this website into being. I had wanted to put my "Ninja" Poem on a webpage for a long time but as anyone  that has ever tried to find animal graphics, especially Dobermans, knows that they are as hard to find as hen's teeth.

I had visited's Vern Bloom's home page, and noticed that he had photo's of his dog on his site and with him being a photographer, I took the chance that he just might have a photo of a doberman. (I have tons of photos but no scanner.)

Lady Care had told me that if I would send her a photo of one that she would make me a set of graphics. She has some of the most beautiful graphics on the web. Needless to say, I was thrilled.

I wrote to Vern and asked him the big question!
He wrote back saying that he only had a couple that were of doberman's but they turned out to be cartoons of dobermans from the Far Side.Ha ha, had a good laugh from it though and figured nothing ventured nothing gained.

Minutes later, I received another email from him and this time he explained that he and his dearest friend Sunshine had gone to Ask.com and found me four links.

The first link turned out to be the O'Sullivan Family Homepage and there was the spitting image of my doberman and  his name was Argyle. (turns out that he was a she, but then Lassie was a male,so what) Even down to Argyle's baby pictures she was identical to my dobe. Course, Ninja weighed 150 lbs so probably in real life he may have been larger but in the photo shots they were like clones.

I didn't look any farther, but immediately wrote to the O'Sullivans and explained my plight. The next day I received an email from Mike stating that I was welcome to use the photos of Argyle. This was one of the happiest days of my life!

I sent Lady Care the photo of  Argyle and then I wrote to Vern and Sunshine to thank them and sent the photo of Argyle so they could see what my dobe had looked like. Also to let them know that their searching had not been in vain.

I wrote Vern that I thought that Devine Intervention had played a hand in all this as the pieces had just fallen into place so easily and quickly.

This is where the story gets good.
Email from Vern;
I've always believed things are given to us for a reason, everything has a purpose. Sunshine found your page, you signed her guestbook, I went from there to your site, you came to visit mine and made your request, I opened my mail from Sunshine's pc, she suggested ask.com, we both picked Argyle...coincidence? Yeah Right! Miracles are everywhere. We just need to open our eyes. I recently changed the quote on my page to "Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right."

It never dawned on me until I saw Sunshine's email addy in Vern's email, that I had known her since April when we both had started out websites. What a wonderful surprize to know that a friend was helping me and I didn't even know it.Click below to visit the O'Sullivan's, Vern and Sunshine's Homepages
