Marceau recommends the following sites:
This First site is a 30 day free trial that will allow you to convert midi files to .WAV .MP3 or .WMA This is great if like me you find sitting in your office chair in front of your computer a little impractical for practice as the converted formats can be burned onto a CD.
http://www.pistonsoft.com/free-midi-to-mp3-converter.html
This second site s also a free trial, it has no time limit but it does not allow you to save. However this one is great as it allows you to change instruments, tempo and balance of the parts. I have found it really useful thus far, it shows you a time so it is easy to go back to a specific place and repeat, also it makes it very easy to emphasize your part on a difficult section and then re-adjust the balance to practice it as it will be.
