JESUS THE GREAT SHEPHERD
Jesus is that Great Shepherd
That keeps watch o'er His sheep.
He leads them in green pastures
And they follow His voice so sweet.
A stranger they will not follow
Because they know His voice,
So they wait for the Master
That Great Shepherd of their choice.
Jesus said, "Be not afraid"
I will never leave you alone,
I will always guide you right
To the fold of my own.
Some day Christ will gather
All his sheep from this land,
And we will be with Him forever
Up there on the golden strand.
So let's follow Christ our Shepherd
As we wander here below,
Always keep in His footsteps
Singing praises as we go.
Singing praises to His name
While we journey here below,
Until at last, come the end
Then to our Shepherd we will go.
