Moon, Jupiter, Venus Mass in Sagittarius on December 1, 2008

From Spaceweather.com, a NASA site: “On Nov. 30th and Dec. 1st, the crescent moon will leap up from the horizon, joining Jupiter and Venus in a three-way conjunction that some astronomers are calling ‘the best sky show of the year’."

Photographer Ehsan Sanaei Ardakani sends this picture taken just hours ago from Ardakan, Iran: "It was one the most spectacular conjunctions ever," he says "I took the picture using a Nikon D70s set at 200 ASA for 20s."

“Last night, the three brightest objects in the night sky converged, producing a triple-conjunction of stunning beauty. Venus, Jupiter and the crescent Moon were crowded into a patch of sky just a few degrees across.

In the 10-year history of Spaceweather.com, no single event has generated more photos than this one. Submissions have poured in from six continents, dozens of countries, kingdoms, democracies, theocracies, ships, planes, cars, and even from a military aircraft refueling 35,000 feet over Iraq. We're building a gallery to display a selection of the best shots. Stay tuned!”

Here are some of my comments from scripture and previous work over these years:

In ancient cultures Jupiter was known as the Lord of Righteousness and was considered the ruling planet. The waxing moon represents the feminine power of regeneration. Venus represents the divine love between a wife and husband. On December 1, 2008 Jupiter was also in the last day of retrograde motion in Sagittarius.

Psalms 19

1: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

2: Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3: There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

4: Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

5: Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

6: His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

7: The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

8: The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9: The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

10: More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11: Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

12: Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

13: Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

14: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Genesis 1:14 states that the lights in heaven are for signs and for seasons and for days and years. In the ancient Hebrew language the word for seasons is moade as written with English letters. This word means a signal for an appointed meeting, conventionally one year, according to Strong’s Analytical Concordance to the Bible. The probable Hebrew root word, yaad, according to the same, means to meet or more specifically to engage for marriage.

We are now in the midst of a 400-year span that occurs every 26,000 years in which, according to ancient tradition and scripture, the advent of a new paradise on earth will commence. It is during this span that the sun resides in the Golden Gate of Heaven on the winter solstice.

First to occur: The sun darkens and the moon turns blood red for a time. (Acts 2:17-21)

Second to occur shortly thereafter: “Just above the arrowhead of Sagittarius, the archer, in a visual line from earth to the densest portion of the Milky Way is a point where the celestial equator and the galactic equator intersect. This dense area is in line with the galactic center and was know by ancient observers as the Golden Gate of Heaven. It was believed that this was the gate from which the gods descended to earth in the form of men. According to the ancient beliefs in many cultures these gods were to come to punish those who did not believe and to gather together those who believe.” The Hebrews believed that the army of the Lord would first appear on earth before the eastern golden gate of their temple. (Jude 14, II Thessalonians 1:4-10, II Corinthians 3:7-14, Luke 9:28-36)

Third : The period of God's wrath begins as described in a number of Old Testament prophecies.(Malachi 4, Isaiah 13) Those that believe in Jesus Christ will begin on the periphery of this situation and will be moved away from it unto salvation as the "day of wrath" concludes.(I Thessalonians 1:10, Romans 5:9)

Fourth to occur a year or more later: The Lord Jesus Christ himself comes out of heaven to raise all that have died in a belief in Christ either before, during or after his first coming on earth. Next, the Lord raises the rest of men and separates the just from the unjust. The saints (those gods in the form of men or holy angels), those that have risen in Christ, and the just enter the new paradise on earth with Jesus Christ. The unjust will spend a thousand years in re-formative perdition before they too are saved. (I Thessalonians 4:16, Matthew 24:29-31, Matthew 25:32-46, I Timothy 6:6-10, Luke 16:16-31, I Timothy 2:4-6, II Timothy 4:10)

So, as the apostle Paul said to those that believe, let’s find comfort and rest in this knowledge and be content to enjoy this life and each other’s company
