We will begin today's activities with:
Identifying Mexico and Arizona on the map and globe.
We will note that Mexico and Arizona are neighbors.
When the students understand that Mexico is a different country.
We will look at Mexico's flag.

**Paper Chains**
Materials needed: strips of green, white, red construction paper glue	After discussing and identifying the colors of Mexico's flag, the students will each recieve 6 strips of construction papers: 2 colors each. 2 greens 2 whites 2 reds The will glue the chain together following the color of Mexico's flag. green, white, red, green, white, red When the students are finished, we will combine all the chains and create a decoration to be used on our fiesta day.
