Anne's House of Dreams is the 5th book in the Anne series and one of my favorites, if not my very favorite! In this book, Anne marries Gilbert and they move to Four Winds where their House of Dreams awaits them. Once there, Anne and Gilbert meet some new characters, including an old sea captain named Captain Jim and a woman with a mysterious past named Leslie. This book contains laughter and touching moments.....and also sorrow. (Make sure you have something to wipe your eyes with...if you are like me, you will cry everytime you read it.) This is a beautiful book and not one to miss. |
