The Storyline to the movie begins in the 90-minute TV episode "Acorn Nuts and Diapey Butts". In that episode, Grandpa meets Lulu, a single elderly woman, then offstage between the TV episode and the movie, marries her. Also in that episode, Chas begins dating again, while Stu invents a robot to be used at Euro-Reptarland.

In the movie, we pick up with a Rugrat-ised version of another Paramount blockbuster, The Godfather (1972), where Angelica plays "The Bobfather". This segues into a wedding reception for our newlyweds. The whole family is there except for one person -- Chuckie's mother, Melinda, who, of course, has died awhile back. Soon after, the gang goes to Paris, where Stu has been hired by the Euro Reptar theme park to fix one of the robots, which he designed.
Kimi Watanabe - Chuckies New SisterIt is there where the Rugrats meet a new girl, Kimi, daughter of Kira Watanabe. Unfortunately, it is also there where they met Coco LaBouche, who runs Euro-ReptarLand. Coco is Kira Watanabe's Boss and hates Reptar's little, juvenile fans. However, due to the fact that she needs to be seen as a loving, friendly woman in order to take over Euro-Reptarland completely, she needs both a husband and a child, even though she can't stand either! When Coco catches Angelica in her office eating chocolates, Angelica reluctantly tells her that Chas is looking for a wife. Coco promises Angelica her own parade if she keep's herKira Watanabe - Chuckies New Mother mouth shut about what's going on. Coco tries to get Chas's attention, while the Rugrats try to steer him towards Kira. After lot's of excitement and adventure, Chas decides to marry Coco, and it's up to the Rugrats to stop him, which is a little difficult considering they have been kidnapped by Jean Claude, Coco's assistant, but with the help of Stu's Reptar Robot, which he had earlier showed Tommy how to use, they get out and stop the wedding in time. Back home, Chas is married to Kira and Chuckie gets his wish - a new mom.
