Sakura Kinomoto is a normal 10-year-old 4th grader who lives a fairly normal life with her father, Fujitaka, (a professor of archeology) and her older brother, Toya, (who's great at annoying Sakura)
One day she was in her father's library where she came across a book called "The Clow", upon opening the book she unleashed the "Windy" card which blew all the other cards to different places all over town . Then Kerberos came out of the cover of the book! Well, he is/was the protector/watcher of the book, but he kinda fell asleep for about 30 years... So, with almost all the cards scattered all over the place, someone has to find and recapture all the cards before they do some serious damage. So, what did Kero-chan do to get all the cards back before something happened? He tricked Sakura to becoming a cardcaptor. With one card, namely the card "Windy," she sets off on her quest to find the other Clow cards.
One of the more intresting aspect in this is that whenever Sakura goes out to capture a card she's always dressed in something different. Her best friend Tomoyo-chan is helping her out with getting all the cards (she supplies the equipment needed actually, like costumes, walkie-talkies, et cetera) and also records everything that Sakura does while capturing cards. |
