+Vision of Escaflowne+

This story is about Hitomi's trip to another dimensional world, Gaea, and how she explores and learns about the unknown world. Hitomi was accidentally brought to Gaea by Van, the young King of Fanelia. In the world of Gaea where the Earth and Moon hang in the sky, Hitomi finds herself trapped in the battle between Van and the Zaibach Empire who destroyed Fanelia. While Zaibach's wish was to obtain the power of Atlantis in order to control the fate of Gaea, the real reasons behind it is to create a world without sufferings and wars. However, to fulfill its wish, Zaibach started 'the holy war' and destroyed anything that got in its way. The only things that could stop Zaibach are Escaflowne and Hitomi's newfound power to see the unseen and the future. Hitomi, together with Van and his Escaflowne, cat-girl Merle, Allen the knight, Princess Millerna and other companions battle against the Zaibach Empire. While battling with Zaibach, and at the same time trying to deal with their own problems and confused feelings of hatred, love, jealousy and selfishness, all of them meet different crisis that they must solve...
