Total solar eclipse Nov. 3, 1994
Liz and I witnessed this eclipse from the altiplano of Bolivia at Huachacalla, near the Chilean
border.  The corona, this time around, had two large steamers at the top (west) and a larger one
at the bottom (east). The sketch was made shortly after the eclipse based on my recollections. Note
the small prominences at the 10:30 position. They appeared just before third contact (diamond ring).
