A TRIBUTE TO BOB & DOUG McKENZIE

Let's hear it for the original hosers:  Bob & Doug McKenzie, and their alter-egos, Rick Moranis & Dave Thomas of SCTV fame.  Bob & Doug started out on the SCTV segment entitled: "The Great White North", which was a look at Canadians & the very quirks that make us who we are.  Some of what they said was true.  Like: wearing toques in the winter (who doesn't love a toque?), drinking beer (a no-brainer!), eating donuts from Tim Horton's, & of course referring to people as "knobs" or "hosers", or uses the phrase "take off!".   Although the last one may not imply to everyone, but I'm sure the vast majority of Canadians uses these words.  Later, Bob & Doug would jump from the television screen to the movie screen in the movie, "Strange Brew", which remains a Canadian classic.  So, cheers to you boys, & hope to see both in "Strange Brew 2". Note:  "Strange Brew 2" is not an official movie (yet), but it remains a dream for the fans of the McKenzie Brothers.  So, sorry for the confusion, eh!
