| Ok, This is my little section on the film: "The Adventures of Bob & Doug McKenzie: 'Strange Brew'", eh. The film was shot in 1982(cool! that's the year I was born in. Pretty cool, eh?) & released in 1983(wow, same year my brother was born. Pretty weird, eh?) & was directed by Dave Thomas & Rick Moranis. The story follows everyone's favourite hosers, Bob & Doug McKenzie as they try to help Pam Elsinore, the new owner of the Elsinore Brewery, try to regain the brewery from the evil Brewmeister Smith. As if the crooked Brewmeister wasn't bad enough, but they must face off against two evil hockey teams, which features players that are from the Canadian Institute for the Mentally Insane, as well as the treacherous "beer tank torture". Will our heroes be successful? Will they manage to get the brewery back to its rightful owners? Will Bob & Doug have enough money to buy beer? You'll have to see it to find out. And if you've already seen it... then why are you reading this, you hoser? |
