The Steps To Solve The Submarine Puzzle

To solve the submarine puzzle, follow the steps below.  If an instruction says only "Ahead" without a direction (Right or Left), it does not matter.  The only time it matters where the direction lever is will be when you are stopped and have a choice of going right or left.

1.  Ahead (past "Y") 2.  Ahead (to tower surface point...not accessible yet) 3.  Ahead (to "X") 4.  Reverse (note the red plant on right after reverse) 5.  Ahead Right (to landing controls)       5a.  For hints or spoiler on landing controls, go here 6.  After setting controls, Reverse 7.  Ahead (back to "X") 8.  Ahead Left (to schoolhouse)       8a.  For hints or spoiler on schoolhouse, go here 9.  After finishing in schoolhouse, Reverse 10.  Ahead (back to "X"....again, note red plant on right) 11.  Ahead Left (to tower landing) 12a.  Finished with submarine (if you are satisfied with          what you learned in the shcoolhouse and have          done one other thing somewhere else on the          island) 12b.  Go back to the schoolhouse if you are not sure of          what you learned.  Be SURE of this before          proceeding with the tower 12c.  For hints or spoiler on tower, go here
