						MARK VAULTIER & BOY GEORGE
				About four months after Trojan died,  Mark Vaultier was found dead from methadone overdose.  He had been hanging around with Boy George and had got into the whole heroin trip.  He did not really have a strong enough personality to keep up with his new glamorous friends and had discovered that drugs bonded them together so that if you were all out of i together no one noticed that you didn´t have much to say. A couple of weeks before he died he had called round to my flat but just sat in the corner scratching himself.  I have never understood the attraction of heavy drug-taking and found it shocking that a perfectly pleasant young boy had let himself get into this terrible state.  No one was allowed to go to his funeral because his family took over and wanted to keep everything private,  which ws just as well because with Boy George connections it could easily have turned into a media circus.  -  SUE TILLEY,  THE LIFE AND TIMES OF A ICON. Mark Vaultier and I went along out of boredom.  Trailing down the street we looked like we´d been left behind by a circus.  Vaultier and I had on platformsneakers and were carrying white plastic handbags that were printed with slogans ´ Stop Corruption´   and  ´Alcohol Kills´ .
