Writter David Thomas recalls the night George and Marilyn swanned off to the openning of Hazel O´Connor´s film Breaking Glass.  ´ The doorman let them in like stars but once inside they were terrified of being chucked out again like freeloaders and spent most of the party in the Gents,  emerging just in time for the obligatory photograph´ SALLY BROMPTON - CHAMELEON
