My Journey/God’s Plans

Once again awakened by the sunrise.
My day has commenced.
My mind racing with items to do.
Then suddenly I stop ,view the sunrise.
What a masterpiece God has created today.
Now I begin to wonder
what purpose is that of mine?
I imagine of being
at other places other than mine.
I worry for the future then I recall:
The Lord is faithful to all his promises
and loving toward all he has made.
So I stop myself and my heart begins
to sing songs of peace and praises to my soul.
I have come to realize
there is no reason for me to be concerned.
The one whole created the masterful sunrise:
God is in charge of my journey.
It is my path but His Plans.
So now I can rejoice in knowing that the
Lord will fulfill his purpose for me,
I just need to be patient and let him
fulfill His Plans.
It may take time to adjust
but God never said it would be easy.
He did say that the contentment
that you long for is in Christ.
So go slow and enjoy the journey you
are in God’s Hands.
