| Line #15 John Lay (Leh, Lea) was b. bef. 1755 and d. ca. 1820 in Perry Co. Pa. He was the son of John Lee and the brother of Maria Lee, who married Jacob Oberdorff in 1791 at Falkner Swamp Reformed Ch. in Montgomery Co. Pa. Known children resulting from his marriage to his first wife, Eva Margaret Henry, were Catharine Lay (Lea), b. 1792 Bucks Co. Pa. and d. 1876 who married Christian Henry 1790-1871, and John Lay (Leh), b. bet. 1790-94 who resided in Cumberland Co. Pa and had sons, Jacob Lay 1817-90, John Lay 1819-85 1m. Elizabeth Derr, and George Lay 1822-94 1m. Catharine Doulhouser. John Lay b. bef 1755 second married on 31 Jan 1791 at Falkner Swamp Ch. to Hannah Henry, b. 24 Sep 1771 and the dau. of Nicholas Henry of that county. Known children resulting from this second marriage, all born in Perry Co., were Henry Lay (Leh, Ley, Loy) 1801-1866 1m. Anna Maria Henry, Jacob Lay (Ley) 1805-1884 1m.
