Pennsylvania A3 Switcher
Like a number of others, I have also started building Kozo Hiraoka's Pennsylvania
A3 Switcher. This has been very rewarding and challenging despite the sub-title of his book ...The first project for the beginner...!
Here is the tender, more or less complete except for the lantern and and painting. I will try to post more pictures of significant stage completions, rather than attempt to copy the excellent detailed construction galleries at these sites:

Frame and Drivers for the locomotive. A ton of manual machining to make the wheels...Yes I know that CNC would help so if you want to send me two or three thousand dollars, it would be much appreciated !!
