Type Correlations
Special Note: Please remember that any Myers-Brigg type can correspond with any Enneagram type. What these charts tell us is which types are more likely to correspond with another. Most 4s are either INFPs and INFJs, but they can still be ENFJs and ISFJs, etc. Also remember that these charts are not 100% accurate, and matching MB with Enneagram is difficult. Many people, however, assert that their is a fixed correlation, that a certain Myers-Briggs type must match up with a certain Enneagram type.
A problem is that the two systems do not match up evenly. The Enneagram is about motivation, and the MB is about how we function in the world. They concern to different areas of human psychology, however many people have overlooked this when creating their lists. A certain MB type may appear in multiple Enneagram types, and another MB type may only appear in one.

Cory Caplinger - This list matches common MB Types and Primary Functions with a person's dominant Oldham style. The MB/Function types were based on the underlying themes and descriptions of the Oldham styles. Even though the MB type might not match the Primary Function, nor does the function have to be primary for the Oldham style, it still represents the basic "flavor" of the personality style.

This list matches Oldham's styles with their Enneagram types, and the Enneagramic variant. The reason this is in a seperate list is that the Myers-Briggs and Enneagram types that correlate to the Oldham type, may not correspond well with each other.
