It's about time I update this page again with up to date info about
me.
My name is Salizah Mahmud. I used to go by the nick LilacBlue on
IRC and some friends still call me Lilac or Lil for short. I am
an IT professional who's now taking a break from work. Yeap I have
quit from my previous job as Systems Analyst at a tertiary hospital
in Singapore. I'm still seeking for new job opportunities and will
definitely find a good job in due time. In the mean time I keep
myself busy by reading books, surfing the internet, doing a web
design project, self-learning, watching dvds, playing badminton
on weekends with my badminton buddies, cycling and some volunteer
work. 
I enjoy travelling tremendously. I'm lucky
that my husband shares the same passion for travelling as me.

. We wed in Feb 2001 and spent our honeymoon in Spain . Spain
is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to and will
definitely visit again. I hope to add some photos from our Spain,
Bangkok (2001) and New Zealand trips (2002) here now that I have
so much time on my hands.
I had a fabulous time during my 10 days visit to Delhi, Agra,
Jaipur and Shimla in India on February 2000. 1999 &
1998 was my visit Malaysia Year. I truly enjoyed myself visiting
places like Terengganu, Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Kelantan,
Penang and Pahang. The most pleasant experience was offcourse
meeting my IRC pals in Malaysia. I was in Turkey in November 97
and I enjoyed it a lot; it's a very fascinating place. I've also
visited Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Amsterdam, Belgium, Cologne and
Hamburg in Germany, Paris and United Kingdom.
So what's next for me ? I will be making trip to Pontian, Johor
Malaysia this weekend to meet my cousins. Really excited about
going back to kampung and strengthen family ties. We will be driving
up to KL on Chinese New Year to meet up with friends, hope the
highway won't be jammed. We have not planned on any vacation trip
for this year though.
