Welcome!! The Discovery Center is not your typical Daycare. In fact we don't really care to use the term "daycare." At the Discovery Center children will : * explore their world * socialize with other children * choose activities of interest to them At the Discovery Center children will NOT * spend hours watching television or a computer screen (short, educational videos and children's movies may be watched at rest time and educational computer games will be available) *be left to entertain themselves * be unsupervised outside |
Why ages 3 & up?? As much as we love infants and toddlers, we, at the Discovery Center, feel that older children need a space of their own. *A place to explore and discover while the caregivers are available to help them. *A place where toys and materials of interest to them can be put out with out having to worry that younger children will get into them and possibly get hurt. New!!! We are now able to take 2 yr. olds. They must be potty trained and within a few months of turning 3. Call for details! |
