History
Hayato first appeared in the 3D Capcom fighting game series Plasma Sword, also known as Star Gladiator. Thus Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is his first two dimensional incarnation, and also his first appearance in a Marvel Crossover game. Hayato's fighting style incorporates elements of Strider and Ryu, using a balanced repetoire of moves along with a very cool laser sword.
