In case you don't know, the next Street Fighter game is already out for PlayStation in Japan on March 8, called Fever4 Sankyo Official Pachinko Simulation from International Card System, a pachinko slot machine game featuring Street Fighter characters. This game features 9 different models of slot machine, three of which are Street Fighter II models (Fever Street Fighter II SP / GP / DX) . As you play the Street Fighter II slot machine, you will see the cute super deformed Street Fighter II characters performing their famous special attacks, and even super combos against the opponent when you score.

Capcom to leave arcades? Apparently not. From Madman's Cafe: The following is the Official Public Statement made by Capcom Co. [Translation: H. Moriarty] "Today, there have been some reports by the media that our company will be withdrawing from the arcade game software market. These reports are not official announcements made by our company, and are not formal decisions made at the current time. Though our company will cut down on the arcade department in the next fiscal and focus on the home console market, we will also continue to provide software for the arcades as well." Heaven forbid. Street Fighter has its roots firmly in the arcade environment, although there have been some excellent PlayStation and Dreamcast ports of late. Me sees an upcoming poll question...
Capcom vs. SNK Pro announced, CvsSNK 2 at TGS From Gamespot Japan: Tokyo, 3/18- In Capcom's "Capcom vs SNK Millenium Fight 2000" tournament held today at "Plaza Capcom Kichijouji", Capcom development staff's Ichinose announced that "Capcom vs SNK Millenium Fight 2000 Pro" -an upgraded version of the original game with balance fixes and other minor changes, will be released. In addition to the minor fixes, 2 additional characters will be added to the game -the characters have not been revealed. The tournament at the Tokyo Game Show on 3/30, will be played with the "Pro" version. In addition, "Capcom vs SNK 2" will be available for viewing at the Tokyo Game Show as well. Well, what do you know? Capcom's making a special edition. Any ideas on the two mystery characters? Why not discuss in the Forums.

Here are more new screen shots of Capcom's Super Street Fighter II Advance
for GameBoy Advance. The game is scheduled to release in Japan in July.
The GBA port is based on Super Street Fighter IIX, which first introduced
the Super Combo moves and the hidden character Gouki (Akuma). Although
unconfirmed, but Capcom is considering to include the network battle mode
in the game, which allows players to battle online by using the cellular
phone and Mobile Adaptor GB. Super Street Fighter II Advance is scheduled
for release in Japan in July.
