Squall Leonheart
A disciplined introvert. A tramatic incident happened to him at an early age, causing him to "miss out lots of good things in life" (Rinoa, airship disc3). Rinoa Heartilly. A headstrong freedom fighter. She believes everyone should speak out or act upon their opinions, and clash with those who doesn't. Character clash Both of them came from a disconnected family. Squall being an orphan and Rinoa borne into a regimented militaristic family. They both lack love since they were little. Rinoa learns to seek attention in order to fill her emotional void, Squall withdraws and deliberately hides his emotion. Rinoa and Squall tries to strive for freedom in their own ways. They're both set in their ways, so initially they don't get along. But as nature goes, opposites attract. Slowly they begin to learn from one another and grew to mutually respect and even love each other. |
