Congratulations, Juniors; you have survived five short stories, one water-main break, and a full week of school. The DYRT quiz grades are impressive, and the high level of cooperation during this space crunch, especially in room 138, indicates a great year ahead.
My apologies to the honor students for the missing novels. I ordered them in May, but, due to a clerical error, they had to be re-ordered two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the book company is located in New York City, and, in light of recent events, they most likely will not arrive any time soon. Also in light of recent events, we should not worry about it.
I have updated the assignments list and the book list. Don't forget to choose a book for the collateral reading assignment.
