These are a collection of all the battles Kuririn experiences that I can remember. They range from the extrememly unexciting to the times where the action was so intense that he...well, he died. So here it is – the great Kuririn encyclopedia of Kuririn’s fighting life.
Tambourine/ This is a battle that you don’t see, but can hear. Kuririn goes back into the arena on his own to retrieve Gokuu's dragonball, and is ambushed - we only here the poor boy’s scream. Tamborine takes the dragonball and leaves Kuririn's bleeding body behind for Gokuu and the others to find. This is his first death - at only thirteen years old.
Raddiz/ Though often overlooked, Kuririn does have a remarkably small exchange between himself and the very first of the Sayiajin. This included mainly Kuririn running off his mouth and ending up getting a kick square in the face that sends him spiraling through the air and right into the side of the Kame building. Sad really.
Vejiita/ Yes, though he does not land a single punch, Kuririn does fight Vejiita. He was trying to protect Gohon, and attempts to attack Vejiita while he was preoccupied with Gohon. The result is Kuririn’s human pinball impersonation as a well-placed kick knocks him ruggedly across the landscape.
Two aliens on Fake Nemeksei/ This is strictly an anime filler, wherein Gohon and Kuririn are fooled by two pink aliens pretending to be Nemekjin. In the end their butts are kicked by the none-to-happy earthlings, though the larger of the creatures makes sure to tell them that if his hamstring had not been pulled that day they the two would have been toast. Yeah.
Freezer’s Henchmen/ These two nobodies are noteworthy only in that they strand Bulma, Kuririn, and Gohon on Nemek. This didn’t put the earth fighters in a good mood, and so they…well, they incapacitate them.
Dadoria/ Ah, the pick blob of taffy. Kuririn fights quite a bit with this fellow, and all while running as fast as he could in the opposite direction. He gives him a good hit to the face when the blob grabs hold of his ankle, and then gets him with a Saikitsuku (solar flare), which gives him and Gohon time to escape.
Guldo/ Kuririn and Gohon face off with the Ginyu force. Too bad he knew how to freeze time, or otherwise he would have been hopelessly outmatched. Regardless, the two very nearly died when they became bound by the green moster’s mind. He bashes their faces in and when he feels he has humiliated them enough, he tries to impale them.
Ginyu/ In this battle, Kuririn and Gohon fight Gokuu (who is really Ginyu). They seem fairly matched for a while, as Ginyu was unable to harness the fullness of Gokuu’s strength. However, it wasn’t long before the purple shape shifter got the hang of it, and it might very well have been the end of things for them both if Vejiita had not stepped in.
Freezer first form/ Not much fighting is done against the changeling in this form, except to dodge his tail as it slings out to meet him.
Freezer second form/ Much more interesting, this fight is terribly sad and entirely one-sided. While Kuririn strives to keep little Dende out of harms way, Freezer targets him and impales him on the end of his horn. He tortures him for a while. Then, after he falls unconscious, he discards him into the lake. Later, after being healed by Dende, Kuririn also manages to slice of a piece of Freezer’s tail and then lead him on a chase to distract him from Gohon.
Freezer 4/ Both Gohon and Kuririn get one good ki blast in at this enemy, though it does little good. Out of cruelty, Freezer then kills Kuririn, shouting to him that this time, he wouldn’t be returning from “death” as he had before.
Garlic/ This too is rather one of the more painful fights for poor little Kuririn-kun. First he gets hit hard enough to bruise his spine. Then, after giving an very (not) encouraging speech about still not giving up (though he could barely stand) and attempts to fight Garlic all on his own. This results in tremendous pain for the little guy as the huge villain picks him up in almost a strangle hold, totally drained of power, and attempts to crush his head.
Cell 2/ Kuririn fights this monster in an attempt to protect Juuhachigou from him. Even when blinded, he still strives as hard as he could to help her. Aww.
Perfect Cell/ Another favorite. Blinded by rage and pain once Juuhachigou is absorbed and Cell becomes perfect, Kuririn launches a belated attack on the green monster, who ignores him as if he were a fly. When he finally acknowledges him, it is only to tell him he was about to die, and to kick him so hard that every bone in his body is broken.
Demon King/ It is a long time before Kuririn’s next fight after Cell, and in it he fights yet another pick alien. The pink alien, whom everyone calls Diabora, spits on Kuririn and turns him and Piccolo into stone.
Majin Buu/ Seeking to protect his family, Kuririn attacks Majin Buu while the others hide in Kame’s Lookout. The others cry out to him to stop, but he ignores them. What he receives in return is a good pumbling before he is turned into chocolate and eaten.
Super 17/ This isn’t much of a fight – Juunanagou gets mad and blasts Kuririn through the chest.
Movies:
(The Tree of Might)
(The World’s Strongest)
Dr. Willow/ Kurirn launches two attacks on Willow. One was a Kamehamaha wave, to which he was repaid with a energy wave that knocked him unconscious, and an physical shot that got him whacked hard and took no effect whatsoever.
Bio Brolly/ During one of the movies, Kuririn steps in to help his wife Juuhachigou fight a being called Bio Brolly. They all do terribly, but they do win in the end.
Zangy/ Another movie character. If I understand it correctly, she is with the real Brolly, and chooses, of all people, Kuririn to fight with. He underestimates her and gets his butt kicked.
TB21/
Preliminary/ This is a sequence of battles and opponents leading up to the TB itself. In the 21 TB, this begins with one of the monks from Orinji (of whom finds himself kicked through a wall), and follows through 157 competitors until the final eight were announced.
Bacterium/ Highly disgusting, this is little Kuririn’s first marshal arts tournament battle. Bacterium relies solely on his putrid stench, which paralyses his opponent and makes it easy to toss them out of the ring – that is if they don’t pass out first from the smell. At first Kuririn seems unable to fight, and gets knocked around helplessly. That is until Gokuu reminds Kuririn that he doesn’t have a nose and therefore cannot smell…
Jackie Chun/ This was only slightly idiotic. The disguised Muten Roshi and Kuririn actually duke it out so fast that no one can see them, and then they stop and act it out in slow motion again for the benefit of the audience. A one point, Kuririn gets hit so hard that Muten Roshi comments that he would never get up from such a blow. But Kuririn does, and knocks his Sensei right out of the ring. He would have won, but Matun Roshi uses a Kamehamaha to launch himself back in and soon another bone shattering blow sends Kuririn spiraling into unconsciousness.
TB23/
Chouzou/ This is hilarious! Kuririn first meets Chouzou before their match and the two take turns insulting each other. When Kuririn calls Chouzou bald, the little white prince calmly pulls off his hat to reveal he had a single hair. This makes both parties furious and in the fight, more then moving up to the next battle seems to be on the competitor’s minds. Chouzou almost gets Kuririn when he locks him a mind bind, paralyzing him. That would have been the end of him if he and not suddenly shouted out a simple math problem. Bewildered, Chouzou has to use his hands to count, and Kuririn is freed from the bind. In anger, Chouzou calls out a more difficult problem, and Kuririn instantly answers, knocking the little white guy right out off the floor.
Gokuu/ To this point, you have yet to see Kuririn and Gokuu really duke it out, but here it is. At first they seem to be evenly match, and Kuririn even seems to have an edge. However, suddenly, Kuririn gets and angry and shouts at Gokuu to stop holding back and really fight him. The result is a fierce fight, and Kuririn’s eventual lose. Gokuu moves on to fight Tenshinhan.
TB25/
Piccolo/ This occurs when a grown up Kuririn and Gokuu come again to the tournament after a great many years. In his first fight, Kuririn fights piccolo, and to everyone’s great surprise, Kuririn does very well. For a while at least. In the end, Piccolo slams him hard into the ground, knocking him unconscious. TB/
