Contest

This is the section of "Little Chestnut" where you can receive a fanfiction or fanart challenge and compete against other writers or artists in your category. Winners will be hosted on this site, and get an award banner to put on their site.

Fanfiction:

Rules:
1. The fanfiction subject must be about Kuririn’s past, whether it be during his training at the Orinji
    Temple or before that time.
2. The entered fanfiction can be a pre-written story
3. Preferred formats are .html and .doc. Entree's submitted in .txt format are subject to structural
    changes in order to get them posted correctly.
4. Warnings would be appreciated (such as Voilence, Child Abuse, etc.)
5. If you as the author wish for any information to be added to your fanfiction, such as author's notes,
    summery, rating, email, genre, etc., please include these in your submission email.
6. Be forewarned that not all entrees will be accepted based on content. For example, any story
    containing explicit sexual content will immediately be exempt from the contest. This is not a lemon
    fanfiction contest. I will accept most fanfiction with up to an R rating, but nothing higher. Please
    note this for the convenience of both myself and you as an author.
7. Fanfiction will be voted on by visitors to this site by way of a poll - participants are asked not to
    vote either on themselves or any of the other participants.

Due date: Christmas 2003
Voting period: January - Febuary 2004

Fanart:

Rules:
1. Draw a fanart of Kuririn as a young child. (No older than thirteen)
2. There are no tool regulations. You may use anything from couputer graphics to crayons.
3. All art must be your *original* work.
4. Entrees must be in the .jpg or .gif format to be accepted in the contest. If you have a conflict and are
    unable to submit in either of these formats, please write to me and let me know.
5. Be forewarned that any inappropriate artwork will not be accepted into the contest. Please send in
    only characters with their clothing *on* their bodies.
6. If you have any additional information that you would like included with your artwork, such as
    author's comments, email, etc. please include this information in your submission email.
7. Entrees to the artwork contest will be voted on by visitors to this site - participants are asked not to
    vote on either their own entrees or any of the other participants.

Special Note: This contest will not accept Lemons or inappropriate artwork in this contest. All entrees that do not meet this standard will be disqualified. This is not a Lemon contest.
