Strongest Human Fighter? |
Perhaps the most commonly asked question among Kuririn fans is, who is stronger? He or one of the other humans? It is obvious they aren’t up to par with the Sayiajin or other alien species, but that can hardly be expected. Other species have natural, inbuilt abilities that promote their strength. The humans? If they have managed to keep up, it is because of very hard work. That in itself is an accomplishment. However, the still applicable question is: well then, who is the most powerful human? Lets look at the possibilities one at a time, starting with the least likely candidate. Chouzou – This little fellow is obviously not a shoe in candidate. He deals mainly in ki attacks, and obviously doesn’t have the brute strength needed. Secondly this little guy doesn’t even make up for his lack of strength with any brains. This is displayed in the 22ed Tenkaichi Budoukai when he can’t even add without using his fingers… Lastly and most important, Chouzou isn’t really human! He’s a little white prince from outer space… (Click here to see him land in his little pod.) Yamucha – The second least likely candidate. He was such a good character in Dragonball; why the change? Well, somewhere along the way he grew incredibly pathetic… Kuririn is notorious for being called a coward, but Yamucha is twice, a hundred times worse. He didn’t stand a chance against even artificial human twenty-one, and after the cell games he stops fighting completely. Even he admits how weak he was when he says this in regards to why he wasn’t fighting in the tournament – “I would only embarrass myself…” Tenshinhan vs. Kuririn Here it is; the real fight, and people fight on both sides fiercely. Lets see if we can’t prove who’s stronger… Tenshinhan – In the beginning, Tenshinhan was (and I emphasize the word “was.”) stronger than Kuririn; that much is provable. Dragonball’s Tenshinhan was indeed a good deal stronger, and that fact remains so until the beginning of Dragonball Z – debatably. Unfortunately, good things don’t last forever. Why is he a candidate? He is a very strong character physically and mentally. He has a great heart and is extremely honest. Presenting the tough, quiet, and intelligent façade, he seems the ideal fighter – very respectable. Kuririn – so short that he barely comes up to Tenshinhan’s waist, always smiling, frequently frightened, Kuririn doesn’t seem like he should be considered very strong. He is a far cry from the stern, dignified person that is his “rival,” so why him? Around about Nemek, Kuririn officially seceded Tenshinhan power wise. It makes sense; training is good, but nothing powers you up more than actual combat. Two of the indicators are that Kuririn stays actively apart of the fighting for a long, long time after Tenshinhan, who doesn’t through one punch after the cell games. Second, and most important, is again the manga. The creator says Kuririn is stronger through one of the characters – Yamucha – who says that Kuririn is the strongest human. I believe that this is the creator’s way of pointing out the top human… Marron: “The fighter papa is fighting looks big…I wonder…” Yamucha: “Kuririn’s the strongest fighter in the world – Yamucha: “…for a human any way…” Have a different opinion?
