Past Updates

ATTENTION!

Today is a big day and is flocked with as many updates and special plugs as I could possibly manage. This amass of change is patially due to the huge amount of time that it has been since I last bothered to update. For that I am extrememly sorry. However, it does mean that I have more than I can handle to present. The following are changes that have been made:

First and foremost, there are a number of announcements:

After only a year of updates and management, the "Little Chestnut" webpage has finally reached over 2000 hits - two thousand! More than this webmistress could ever have thought possible. So in a way, these updates are more than just backlog. They are a celebration and a great big thank you to everyone who has visited this site over the past year.

Second is in regards to my account at fanfiction.net. It has been an enormous pleasure and honor to be hosted on that magnificent webpage, and there has been no greater boost and encouragement to my personal writing than it has. However, over the last two years I have started far too many chapter stories with no intention of finishing them. In youth and ignorance I posted more quickly than time and skill allowed, and I now regret having made available more than I was capable of keeping up with. For this reason, I have decided to remove "The Most Unique Ki" and "The Transdimensional Warp Saga" from the author's archive. They will still be available at this webpage for the time being, but they will no longer be updated until I can complete some of my others.

Additionally, I would like to announce the coming opening of a new webpage of mine. It's not quite finished yet, but I hope to have it ready enough to add a link to it from here before the holidays are over. A break from studying will make such things come so much more quickly. If you are interested, feel free to email me for a sneak peek.

Close to my heart, I have one more large announcement. Starting this December, a new section will be opening up from this webpage. It is the "Support Kuririn" newsletter, which will update steadily every month and include news, a listing of new support Kuririn members, and sections for the best Kuririn links, fanfiction, and fanart of the month. This will be a way for Kuririn fans to see what's new for Kuririn each month, and for their fan work and webpages to be recognized.

December 1, 2002

Today I put up the seventh chapter to my Mirai Juuhacigou/Kuririn fanfiction "A Fading Ki." I know that it took forever to get up, but here it finally is.

Additionally, I want to plug an author of fanfiction.net, named Something Washed Ashore. Her fanfciton are well writen and show a great deal of thoght. Highly suggested, and appropriate for young readers too, most of it. Go see.

October 5, 2002

Some rather big devlopments today. Along with a number of small site mantanace updates, I have fixed and expanded the links section. Additionally, a new chapter of "A Fading Ki" is available in the fanfiction section, and new pages of images are currently becoming available. I'm sorry about the delay with the images. I'm incompatant and only know how to do it by hand. Its annoying and long. Thanks for your patience.

Today there is a new fanfiction up in the fanfiction section by an author named Kiwi Moon.

Additionally I have updated the links page, and added the webpage I am about to plug: Kuririn's Pad, done by Silent Angell. It's amazing, stuffed full of her amazing artwork and fanfiction. New, but great quality. Go see it!

Today there are a couple of interesting things comming up. One of these is very special. Silent Angell has submitted more of her awesome fanart. Two new images are available for viewing in the Fanart Section. Additionally, one of those was a little banner for "Little Chestnut" and can be picked up for use in the Link Banner section.

Not too much today. Just some general mantanance for the most part. I hope to have some bigger updates within the week.

There was one big thing today. Three new adorable fanart by Silent Angell. You can see them in the Fanart section. Here's a plug for her while I'm at it: Silent Angel is also an amazing writer. Be sure to check her work out on fanfiction.net where she goes by the penname Bluangl16.

Today I did loads of mantanance - little things you probably couldn't nomally see. Such as the broken links to Fanart and Rants are now fixed, and the rules for the fanfiction and fanart Contest are spelled out more clearly.

Additionally, the first and second chapter to a new fanfiction is up, and there are six more fanart available in the Fanart section.

There are two new rants available now, and you can read them now. They are both rather silly, but I wanted to put something up in that section.
Additionally, I wanted to make it known that I have now started a small "network" for supporters of Kuririn. It's called the KURIRIN SUPPORT GROUP. You can find the link to that site in the Support Kuririn section.

There is a new supporter of Kuririn today in the Support Kuririn section today. That and a new link for general DB.
Also a plug. www.gokugirl.com is having its annual fanfiction contest and I am now a participant. Stop by there and enter the contest, or come back and vote in September.

Fun stuff today. New fanart from death - the young artist who did the stuff in the fanmanga section. She does such cute Kuririns.

Two new pages are up - the awards page and the information page: battle moves. Also the polls page, which I am rather proud of. Go and leave your opinions.

I still haven't got all the images up, but they are in progress. Please be patient - I'm incompatant and have yet to find a better way than the slow and steady and one-by-annoying-one method.

Also there is much fanfiction up today.

July 24, 2002 - There is an entirely new layout today - one more ordered and easier to read. I hope that it will help with updates. I also have all but two sections, and all the fan sections are functionable.

Fanart and fanmanga are finally filled with actual work, so go see it. Additionally, the fanfiction section is still filling up. I need submission from other Kuririn writers though - so send them to me!

Please comment on the new layout. Also it should be noted the reason for this startling change. Say thanks to my inspiration - Kurishojo!

July 23, 2002 - I am proud to annouce the offical openning of "Little Chestnut." Tne front page graphics are still on their way, but all of the main sections should be up and working, and the images I hope will be in place by the end of the week. I hope to have new stuff out every week from this point further. Below are some things to check out.

- Fanfiction

There is more than above now up, but that will give you a taste of that which everyone seems to enjoy the most. More soon, I promice. Questions, comments, or suggestions can be sent here.
