| Chrys entered our lives in the spring of 1981. I had been on the waiting list for almost 2 years. Chrys and his sister Cori were born November 2,1980 to Ch. O' Sol-Tan's My Ebony Eyes C.D.X. and BIS Can/Am Ch. Jay-Mac's Slightly Scarlet from the well known DEVILEEN kennels of Mary and Bedford Bates of Victoria, B.C. My second minpin, he quickly finished his Canadian title as a puppy with a Best of Breed win over a Multi-Group Placing Special and on his last weekend as a puppy won that coveted Best Puppy In Group. Chrys was my foundation and will always remain in my heart as my favourite couch potato. Some of Our firsts with CHRYS. | This is Chrys's last litter sired for his 14th birthday on the weekend of the 1994 CMPC National Specialty. The other exciting part of that weekend was his son Jack winning BISS and also a Group 1, then his daughter Pippin winning Winners Female, and other daughter's Sarah/Lucy winning Brace. (L-R) JR,Thea, and Jaimie. Thea's daughter, Lili is our first Best In Show Dog. We believe her to be the only breeder owner handled Best In Show Miniature Pinscer in Alberta and,Western Canada, quite possibly the first in Canada. She has earned her place in the history of the breed as there are only a handful of Best In Show Miniature Pinschers in Canada. |
