I have been involved in the world of dogs since 1972, I started learning to handle dogs as a member of the Port Alberni Valley Junior Kennel Club. I joined the Canadian Kennel Club while still a Junior Kennel Club member.I have been fortunate to work with dogs with "Winning Attitudes." I also am called upon to handle on the spot and must be familiar with presentation of many different breeds. Every dog show is a learning experience.... I have experience handling breeds in all 7 groups.I prefer to work hands on with a new owner. When a novice show person is interested, I like to put my skills to use to teach them all the ins and outs of the dog show world. If they are interested, then I teach them how to show their own dogs. I am also working with show people and helping them to achieve their potential with their dogs. It's already been a wonderful start to 2009. . |
